She has posted some sketches on her blog done by the incredibly talented Valerie Salmon and I was inspired by her layout The Garden Sketch # 54 (with lil' Mr. Cutie Pie Harvey) to get some pages done! TFL! I didn't know this was Valerie's sketch until AFTER I HAD ALREADY POSTED THE BLOG AND THE PICTURE...my apology. Gotta check those things FIRST inthe future.
We had a great time scrapping, making new friends, eating, and learning new things from and about each other. Here are some pics of the FUN..hope no one minds that I posted their face but didn't post mine!
Am getting stuck here...this is hard! So, enter my scrapworld and look at
my messy desk where I'm working on my Disney layouts.

am behind in my photo challenges......I love this adorable clipboard
that I got as a gift from my sis this weekend...has all the things I love, bling, flowers, YELLOW,
beads...Need I say more?? She is super d duper talented!

GRATITUDE IS INDEED LIKE A GEARSHIFT THAT CAN MOVE OUR MENTAL MECHANISM FROM OBSESSION TO PEACEFULNESS, FROM STUCKNESS TO CREATIVITY, FROM FEAR TO LOVE. THE ABILITY TO RELAX AND BE MINDFULLY PRESENT IN THE MOMENT COMES NATURALLY WHEN WE ARE GRATEFUL. ~ JOAN BORYSENKO
Mr. Whiz Kid at his 1st Easter Egg hunt and boy, was he excited! He wouldn't stop long enough for me to take pictures so....this will really look better once I enhance it in Adobe PE; maybe even decolorize it.
Somebody baked these for the Easter Egg hunt today and I have to say that while they looked absolutely YUMMY, I had the willpower to stay away! Just looking at the picture will have to suffice since I'll never lose weight if I partake. I'm just enjoying their goodness from afar!
B refuses to give up "comfy" things without a fight-WHY??? We will not be repairing these beat up, stinky, torn up shoes and she has agreed that I would photograph them for memory's sake and then we can throw them away...Kids!
My own Hannah Montana-she is so beautiful and isn't afraid to do her own thing...
Stripes and bling.....it works!!
Today starts a 30 day photography project for me since I was inspired by my friend Chela. I'm going try and explore my camera a bit, it's really not a complicated camera (Panasonic Lumix) but I haven't mastered it yet. And I'm gonna TRY and mix things up a bit here on the blog since it's sosoosso boring.
My motivation for this project is that it will be a part of really seeing. Because what's happening right now- my kids are changing quickly and I can't scrapbook EVERY single moment so I really want to see the what seems to be "ordinary moments" that make up each day.

Had to come up to NY to visit my parents; unfortunately, they live up in the mountains and it is absolutely so darn cold..my gosh, don't these people ever get a thaw out? Temps in the low 30s and snow piled everywhere...not my idea of great weather. The snow that melts creates these massive dirt "ponds" and then at night, refreezes back to ice. Will be glad to get back to warmer temps soon.
