scraplift of the day

By kate blue - Tuesday, May 17, 2011

I've always been a big GINORMOUS fan of Leslie Ashe; she's one of the few scrappers I know that share my passion for black cardstock...and handwriting- only hers looks wayyy cooler! Technically, if I could, I'd take a month and scraplift all her stuff for 30 days...30 scraplifts of Leslie Ashe...but, sigh, I know I could never do her layouts justice.  So anyway, I love her stuff and FINALLY took the plunge and lifted her for the first time EVER...she was recently in the May 2011 issue of Scrapbook Trends and her "I Love You Truly  Dear" layout caught my eye and so for National Scrapbook Day, rather than be creative on my own, I lifted:

girls date out-PANERA time!
I WAS gonna show you her layout, BUT I loaned out my copy of ST and forgot to take a picture!  Used 6 supplies or so and it came together so easy! I think those papers are SEI and Cosmo Cricket & I used another of the overlays from Cathe Holden and a cute stamp that Caryn had laying around :)   TFL!
