November's inspiration for this month's Counterfeit Kit Challenge is the Cedar Lane collection from Pink Paislee.  Lots of royal blue, earthy wood tones, bold florals and even pinks but still some elements that make me think of fall.
Believe it or not, I didn't have these things in my every growing stash!  So, I'll admit this is a loose interpretation of it.  My kit is paper heavy since I'm going to a crop this month and only want to pack 2 large kits so be forewarned! I started with the BOLD PATTERNS-the florals, the acorns, the greys and the woodgrains:
I then moved on to the yellows, pinks and print patterns that caught my eye:
and I added in some of my own papers that I hadn't used from my October CKCB kit so they wouldn't go to waste!
Embellishments:
I'll definitely have another add-on kit since I was inspired by their DT's add-ons plus I forgot to add my little foxes in there-will add the picture of that tomorrow!!   I actually made a lot of layouts with my Oct kit but couldn't post them since they were for future DT reveals.  This time I plan on just creating layouts for me ...So, I'll set a goal of 15+ layouts!  Wish me luck!

  1. Great kit Queen Kat! I am going to have to do the challenge over at CKC again, I loved working with the kits I made and just haven't taken the time to do it lately. But you have inspired me to pull a kit for this month and try to use as much of my stash as I can. Thank you for your inspiration. Love your blog by the way!
