The dig out begins

By kate blue - Sunday, January 24, 2016

For those of you who don't live on the East Coast, we had a major snowstorm...actually, a blizzard this week= 28 inches of snow!  YUK!  So that meant everyone was home...IS home until the city/county and everyone else can dig out...I'm not a snow kinda gal, never have been and then add needy/bored kids in the mix....

Looks pretty though huh?
but that being said, I brought myself down to the studio to clean, paint and scrap!  To warm up, I did some simple scraplifting of the super talented Victoria Marie Calvin a/k/a Victoria Marie (my scrap crush).  You can find her at the Scraptastic Blog and a few more places like {HERE}...I adore her style and would personally scraplift about 25 of her layouts (hmm, that's a thought for a later project-30 days of Victoria??) so I started with THIS layout that I just LOVED:

and I scraplifted it twice-one for the Thing 1 and the other for Thing 2 using those fabulous papers from the Crate Paper Hello Love collection!

more to come........................

  1. Love the 2 scrap-lift projects and you really got a lot done while snowed-in.

I am so glad Jonas missed us up here in Toledo, Ohio! I hope the dig-out goes quickly.

  2. Great layouts. We got about the same amount here in WV! I printed out pictures on Friday in case the power went out. So I made 2 pages! We hope to get out tomorrow.
