It's fall and football time in our house and so on Sundays,  in addition to watching football I also have to multi-task so I brought my Counterfeit Kit (CKCB) kit upstairs and scrapbooked.  Got 3 layouts done (forgot to photograph one) so here are my Counterfeit Kit Challenge Octobers # 1 & 2!!!
If you'll recall the previous post, My CKCB kit based on the PinkFresh Studio's "Indigo Hills" kit was very contemporary; truly a bit outta my comfort zone...so this month, most of the layouts will have the mixed media contemporary feel and some inky /paint touches.

Can't remember if I posted this layout before-it's a reminder to myself to get my Clique Kits open this month and use em!  I have 3 unopened kits that are screaming OPEN ME, OPEN ME!  For this layout, I used the May Northern Lights Kit which featured some serious awesomeness from Fancy Pants (Atwell) and Basic Grey (Urban Luxe) collections....

I don't buy scrappy supplies monthly but with the winter approaching, I joined a kit club cause I hate to drive in general and REALLY hate to drive in winter but I like having new stuff to scrap with so...My first kit came this month from Clique Kits and it's called Alegria (=HAPPY)  and it's chock full of all that delicious Happy Place collection from Fancy Pants!

You read it correctly!  This month, Challenge # 19 is:  ANYTHING GOES!! I decided to use my Fancy Pants Office Suite that  I got from Leslie @ The Memory Nest :)  Added in some gold bling (from Michael's) and a few other bits and VOILA!!

Another challenge  missed at The Studio Challenges. Even though I missed the challenge, I still loved being inspired by it.  Their March 29th challenge was to look at this photo from Jill Thomas Photography on Pinterest and see how it inspired you!

I had just received the Fancy Pants Office Suite Collection from The Memory Nest Shop and knew I needed to use it! It's full of pastels and florals along with some bold patterns!


My take: Inspired by the flowers and the pinks & yellows in the picture:

Decided to rewatch Season 2 of House of Cards AND since its another dang snow day, I am multitasking and scrapping too! Came across a new site for me called THE STUDIO CHALLENGES and their March challenge was quite the challenge:  A List!  You pick any/ all of these items:  mist/stamping/sequins/chip/brads or eyelets/thread/vellum/yellow...so, I grabbed some supplies and used everything but mist and instead of thread I used string on the tag.  Hope you like! After I did the stenciling, it came together faster than I thought it would. Great Fancy Pants products, awesome vellum by DCWV mixed with Simple Stories!!

Since last month's kit was a HUGE success, (I got 12 layouts done even though I only posted 9, I used 2 for a future DT post at Scrap Our Stash and one I forgot to photograph) I decided to keep the mojo rolling and get my November kit done today.  This month, the DT at the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog (CKCB) used the "Fabulous Fall" kit from Scrapbook  & Cards Today as their inspiration.
 

I'll admit it, I already had the Fancy Pants Burlap & Bouquets  kit sitting in my stash so I already had a head start!  So here you have it, MY NOVEMBER "BLESSINGS" Counterfeited Kit!
Since the counterfeited kit was paper heavy, I just did my own ADD-ON kit!  I went through one  or two of my previous CKCB kits and my stash around this messy studio...Since it's November, I tried to keep my embellishments looking like a leafy/fall theme.  Added in stickers, chip, canvas shapes, buttons, Wendy Vecchi goodies,  mixed ephemera and no kit of mine is complete without wood veneers!.   I know I might have some of those burlap looking hearts in my stash but if I can't find them, I'll just cut up some real burlap shapes :):)

The super cool nerdy guy on the right is a business card -love him!
