after a whole year wait, I finally received my personal copy of Memory Makers Big Book of Scrapbook Pages and yes, yours truly has a few layouts in there...I've started browsing slowly since there are so many layouts on one page and I want to look at all the details of the pages (a bit hard cause they have sooo many pages in there but it is chock full of inspiration for folks of all levels) ...but I wanted to share this one OF MINE up close cause it was one of my favorites:  This girl rocks and this layout came together soo easy...am not sure I could do it quite so easily now cause I'd critique it to death!

I think it goes on the newstands on Tuesday (May 26) but they sent me 2 pre-issues on Friday ....I see where the glue dots I used didn't hold the embells on the left and they photographed the LO a bit "off" but hey, I'm published right!!!???? No worries !!

one way to reduce waste while scrapbooking is to reuse...Found tons of these $1 Colorbok "how to" guides in the clearance section at either Michael's or Joann's and bought 5 or 6 of them...thought I'd start making some cute tag books with favorite pics-like mini coffee table albums! Am doing first one with my nature favorite pics from my favorite photographer, Mz. L....still a work in progress since I've gotten sidetracked...one side photo, the other will be a mini scrapbook page for journaling with poetry, quotes, or personal journaling like where photo was taken, when and why I love the pic. Great way to use up ribbon & paper scraps too.
