SENSORY FRIENDLY MOVIE EVENT **COLUMBIA MD

By kate blue - Tuesday, August 31, 2010

AMC Theaters Columbia Mall ** Saturday Sept 4th, 10 a.m.
Nanny McPhee once again radiates as the no-nonsense nanny who doesn’t suffer fools at all. She is on a mission to teach the children of the world her five basic life lessons – topping the list are “to stop fighting” and “to share nicely”. Maggie Gyllenhaal plays Isabel Green, who is left alone to tend not only her three cantankerous children but also her sister’s. As the children shape up, her warty snaggle-toothed features gradually coalesce into a radiant prettiness.

During the showing the lights will be kept up and the volume will be kept down. Sensory breaks are encouraged. Doors open at 9:30 and the movie starts at 10:00 with no trailers. Sponsored by The Howard County Autism Society and AMC Theatres Columbia Mall. Tickets are $6 a person at the door. Open to all individuals with special needs and their families.
