Welcome !! We lipstick chicks over at True XOXO (I'm still guest designing with them) are celebrating with Groovy Deb of If It's Groovy blog and the Groovy Team for a fantastic blog hop! They are celebrating their 4th birthday and what better way to celebrate than with fantastic crafty inspiration and some prizes!! You should be coming over from Kimmy's blog, but if not, start {HERE} at Wendy's blog so you don't miss a thing!
I'm your December chick and since I am such a procrastinator, I am JUST scrapping December 2011 photos! Maybe I'll inspire those of you in the same boat yes??!! I chose to do a 30 minute or less layout with simple stash and one piece of patterned paper! One way to add pizazz is to use clusters so....here ya go.
I am the last stop on the blog hop before you head back to If It's Groovy for her super prize and I forgot to say that I too am giving away a prize!
Since I was the December calendar gal, I have a "Christmas in January" kit that I've put together a la Counterfeit Kit style for one lucky winner! All you have to do is leave a comment here telling me which gal inspired you the most and I will pick a winner on January 16th!

Seeing how I came to your blog first, YOU inspired me the most! :D I hope to have some time to make it to some of the other stops...
ReplyDeleteWow...The black background really makes the rest pop. This is Beautiful. I love your colors too... Every one on this hop shared some very talented work. I dont think I could narrow it down to just one person inspiring me. Everyone inspires me in different ways. Everyone has something to give. I can can say that something did stay with me about Jaclyn's page. I think it's the BE YOU! Everyone now a days needs to know it is ok to be yourself. Thanks for sharing with us today. You did a wonderful job.
ReplyDeleteOh I LOVE the black background for your layout - it really is stunning for the photos! I can't really say there was one that really is stuck in my head since I've been all the way through the hop but I sure loved all the inspiration! It has me wanting to sit at my scrap table NOW! :) So fun to be hopping along with you! :)

This is a GREAT page- your daughter is such a character! Great details on this page! I don't have to entered in the hop prize- I just wanted to swing by and leave love for someone I hope will become a permanent Lipstick chick again. :)

ReplyDeleteYou know, I didn't think I would, but I just love all that black with just a hint of Christmas green & red. So subtle, so elegant.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I'm moving your status at xoxo as 'guest starring' - to make sure you'll stay as long as you want!

Love how you used those embellishments. Just the right touch. Your daughter is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteFor my extra comment about who inspired me the most. You sure asked a hard question. I am going to choose Rochelle's layout for her brother in law. I found that very inspiring.
ReplyDeleteThis hop has been fantastic add very inspirational! How to choose just one? Can't do it!!!
ReplyDeleteLove your page!
What fun it looks your daughter and yourself had creating the pictures and page! As for inspiration there is so many to choice from...I do have to say when there is a challenge or out of the box creation it does give you the push to try it!
ReplyDeleteQueen Kat... This layout is fun, fun, fun! The pictures are awesome and you added flair with your color and embellishment choices.
ReplyDeleteI cannot tell you who inspired me the most because I found something at every site, like the dots along the bottom of your layout and clustering a heart instead of a flower. I will certainly grab those ideas soon. I really enjoyed meeting so many new crafters because IIG combined with your group from XOXO. Thanks.
This is awesome. I love the stark back ground and how it makes your photo jump off the page. Gorgeous red accents tie it altogether.
ReplyDeleteLove the black background with nothing on it. You are forced to look athe the photos and and sweet pp and embellies! There are bits and pieces of each LO that have inspired me. I love yours for the photo focal point, I love the LO about being you, I love the simplicity and masculinity of Brenda's bil, love the romance of Rochelle's wedding LO. I could go on but you get my drift! I'm totally inspired and so glad to have a half day tomorrow so I can get some extra hours of scrapping in! Tanks for a fabulous blog hop :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous LO. Now following your blog. Love all your work.
