I admit it, my sewing machine was purchased solely for crafting...I do not sew...at all...I think the only thing I tried to sew was my new kitchen curtains :) last month ....But anyway, Paper Lovers Studio Challenge #2 is sewing on a layout! MY TAKE:
yep- that is ASL buttons you see....my sister found me those WONDERFUL American Sign Language metal embellishments (I think they are K & Co) WAYYYY long time ago and I hoarded em, waiting for the perfect time (and photo) to use them! And then along came this FAB ASL paper from Echo Park in their NOTE TO SELF Collection and so what better thing to showcase than this closeup picture that I took....Just a note to my Thing 2 to embrace all that he is and that we think cochlear implants are just WOW!
I stitched imperfect stitching cause straight stitching is unknown to me....added some Kaisercraft rubons, some washi tape and some journaling cards that probably were intended for Project Life but since I don't do PL, I just add em where ever...voila! The 30 minute layout :):)

Your layout looks great!! I like that your stitching isn't straight, and I hope we inspired you to get you sewing machine out more often! :)

ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I love the look of stitching on layouts! I don't have a sewing machine, but will do it by hand when I'm in the mood.
