I took a two (or was it 3?) month break from the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog (CKCB) just because I was being lazy and carry around half filled bags of junk and I haven't been going to crops as much as I normally would....Life busy I guess...BUT, I am back to getting some kits together!
This month, they went back to Cocoa Daisy and chose to pick their February "Color Swatch" kit as the initial inspiration:
hmmm... I had this mound of stuff dumped on my living room table? (only cause the hubby has been out of town otherwise...)-I was gonna post a picture but my SD card got corrupted today and it's gone...anyway, I was inspired by the kit so it's not a direct counterfeit. I added prints, wood veneers, flair, trim, frames, button of both the plastic and the wood kind, and a coupla different kinds of the tags:
MY TAKE on the MAIN KIT:
But why stop there?? I then moved on to their "Paint Chip" kit:
am gonna counterfeit that inky handwriting page myself (will do a post when I do.) Just added what I had -epoxies, 6 x 6 papers with handwriting & lines, journaling spots, diecuts, resin flowers, and sequins (I have some other gold and green sequins but couldn't find em):
I then moved on to their "Palette" paper add on:
and then last but certainly not least, I had to copy their Day In the Life kit:
MINE:
*neutral cardstock, stamping and more may be added in as I go; I'm not sure yet! But there ya go, it looks ginormous but it isn't :):)
