Scraplift of the day

To continue on with the long holiday weekend....I had some issues of Scrapbook Trends mag that I've never looked at {I know! Bad girl} and just needed some inspiration today since the bff and I scrapped a bit so...have always loved Ms. Stephanie Howell from the time I first started scrapping; her style is timeless...and this layout from the June 2008 Scrapbook Trends book caught my eye:

I thought your daughter was the driver of a car in that photo! Very sweet colors in this layout, and I cannot see why you don't like/use pastels because you make this awesome! I struggle with monochromatic and it looks effortless on this layout. Beautifully done. :)
