Thankful Thursday

She lost this amazing girl, her precious daughter (in pink), MacKenzie, who died the day before yesterday, a child who was only 13 {sigh}, to this nasty thing called a brain tumor. It has been a painful 4 years (maybe more) for this family and through it all, Sue has been a source of strength, inspiration, and hope...There were days when I truly had no idea how she kept going but I found out that she was THANKFUL...thankful for the time she did have with this child....We are truly saddened by her loss and can only pray for Sue and for MacKenzie's sisters right now-pray for strength, faith and support during this extremely painful journey. This child was an amazing gift to those who knew her and even to those who didn't. Her legacy (she was an amazing giver/organizer of toy drive for kids @ Hopkins Children's Center) will live forever..........MacKenzie Anne Stuck** April 1997-October 2010

I am so sorry to hear that she passed. My niece had a brain tumor, and I know that even with 2 surgeries, we are never out of the woods. My thoughts and prayers are with her and with you.
