Woop Woop-Counterfeit Kit jelly roll
By kate blue - Thursday, March 17, 2011
or should I say tootise roll??? either way, I'm a scrapping roller with my March kit! I'm on layout numero tres (3)!! And since I'm going to a crop tomorrow afternoon (date with hubby in the evening) I hope to get 3 more done! So, I know it looks like the same pictures, it's just that they are from the same vacation and I'm determined to get Florida 2010 scrapped before Florida 2012....LOL...so anyway, here's layout # 3:
then, one more thing...I was in my local scrapbook store and saw these by JilliBean Soup:
well, being on a budget, I truly loved them, but refused to pay $ 5 for 4 ...so, using my counterfeit kit, a punch, and some sewing pins, I made my own!!! Punch 2 shapes, add dollop of glue on one, add your pin in the middle and hold it together till it sticks-use when dry...TA-DA!!! Cost?? Pennies...I had the pins left in a drawer from who knows where so...and the punches I got from FREECYCLE-yup, a lady (kie 2 miles from my house) put 15 punches on Freecycle and I took 8 and am RAKing the other 7 to my friend Amber for cardmaking! I'm scoring all around this week** Woop Woop!!!

Lovely page and the pin idea is super going to try it myself now.
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful. I love your strip of goodies down the left side. And I so love that you made your own pins. They are fantastic. I may have to CASE them.
