The Maryland Law Enforcement Torch Run is known around the
world for the commitment of its members who so faithfully support
Special Olympics. I am lucky that some of my friends across this great state are law enforcement officers who allow me to be part of their Plunge team :):) My childhood friend Lauryn first led me to this fabulous addiction and I still am plunging in her honor (since she cannot plunge for health reasons) with some of her friends that i met along the way!
The MSP Polar Bear Plunge raises funds and awareness for Special Olympics Maryland. Part of the plunge is the Police Plunge-The
Police Plunge is one of many events that are part of the Maryland Law
Enforcement Torch Run, a program proudly supported by law enforcement
and correctional agencies across
our state. Special Olympics is the adopted charity of law enforcement worldwide.
