My CKCB add-on and a forge!

By kate blue - Wednesday, November 04, 2015

Ok-so I trolled around my stash some more and put my Counterfeit Kit CKCB November kit add-on together-Some watercolor rubons, some pinwheels and rosettes, Bold Amy Tangerine word Thickers, washi tape, microbeads, arrows, some fox journaling cards (cut him out of photo by accident)...made my own embellished paper clips (gotta tell ya, it was hard!  paper clips. and washi. BOOM! lol)
Then, on to my Master Forger forge for the Fourth...I was inspired by Margie from Happiness is Homemade who showed us how she made her awesome leaves but since I didn't have a leaf die for my Big Shot, I used something else.  For my small leaves, I used an old punch-yup, dig up those old punches that are gathering dust and use em!  Colored some with watercolors and for others, covered white cardstock with washi, others I used patterned cardstock that I didn't like too much and simply punched!!  For the larger leaves, I pulled out a fabric leaf I had lying around, traced it onto white cardstock and free styled leaves using my handcutting skills.  Added watercolors and that's it!
**now to start creating some layouts with my massive November kit!

  1. Oh. Wow. Those watercolour leaves are awesome. Glad you found some extra inspiration from the add on. And well done creating your own paperclips - it's definitely not as easy as Pinterest makes it look!
