It's October?? Or should I say, It's October!!

Where is time going?? Slow up 2016! Well, it's October, I've been sick all week, and it's been raining for days so, what's a girl to do?? Get outta bed, drink lots of tea, do some chores (mom's don't REALLY get time off) and put a Counterfeit Kit (CKCB) together of course!
This month's CKCB kit inspiration comes from Pink Fresh Studio and their August reveal of their "Indigo Hills" kit.
I think I was inspired with the graphic style prints and the colors: subdued pink mixed with the goldenrod and the navy. So, I knew that my March (no judgement, sometimes I hold em for a little bit lol) Hell Yeah Clique Kit had some similar colors so I 1/2 way cheated and pulled it out:
A SIDES:
B SIDES:
I then looked at some of their embellishments and made my own small embellishment pack, focusing on journaling spots, small words, gold embellishments and misc die cuts.
I really loved their mixed media looking papers and since the kit is kind of contemporary, I knew I didn't have any of those kinds of papers in my stash. So, for the first time, I broke out the acrylic paints and "counterfeited" my own papers!
THEIRS:
MINE: (I'm not sure why my colors are all crazy, my pink looks orange but trust me, it's pink)
and then THEIRS: I just liked the blue splatters
MINE:
So there ya go! I did forget to add my washi tape in here but I'll do it later! I'm hoping to get about 6 layouts done and it'll probably happen since for once, I'm on time and made my kit on the first day!
