Since we are still in Phase One of COVID19 (until next week but even then) I'm on a crafty spending freeze and so for June, I created my Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog kit and trust me, this kit is GINORMOUS!

This month's Counterfeit  Kit Challenge was inspired by the Wonderful World kit from Clique Kits International:

So when I first saw this gorgeous kit, I knew mine was going to be BIG.  My brain went straight to the PAPERS first of course- florals, pinks (I'm slowly changing my mind about pink ya'll) golden yellows and blues.  Watercolor type/ mixed media papers..

Then, embellishments ONE and TWO and THREE: WORDS, CAMERAS, HEARTS, BUTTERFLIES, TAGS AND NO KIT IS COMPLETE WITHOUT GOLD {BLING}

and then since I didn't use up all of May's kit, I threw it into my BOX O STUFF that normally sits on my desk that is full of misc stuff that I feel like I wanna use here and there:

In August, we switched things up at Scrapbook Challenges (I've been away for 2 weeks on vacation so forgive me for just letting you know) and every Monday in August,  we give you a sketch and then, on Tues-Fri, we give you a twist!

Just checking in to see how those of you who are on summer vacation are faring...and are you getting some craft ME time squeezed in there too?  Today's post is all about using more stash !  Even though I'm in a NO BUY Group on Facebook, (send me an email if you wanna join!) it was my birthday month last month, AND, I broke the rule and ordered a medium sized order from Paper Issues of the new Crate Paper goodness!  That being said, I'm now in a crunch to use up lots and lots of stash AND to use up my Clique Kits that are being hoarded before the package gets here!
So, today, I just have 2 layouts that I did just for myself using up Maggie Holmes Bloom stash; I'll be scrapping like a fiend all of August :):) since I'll be on relaxin'!

For the first one, I used Sketch #492 (above) from Scrapbook Challenges; I originally was going to use it for my DT reveal but changed my mind and went with another instead (HERE) so technically,  I was actually inspired twice!


Happy Hump day!  Hope it's got some craftyness squeezed in it!

With family,  kids and grandkids being home for the summer,  travel plans, work and more stuff in our schedules, we hardly get time to craft sometimes and our mojo goes into hiding.  One way I get some of it back is with a SKETCH!  So on this WHAT I MADE WEDNESDAY, I'm showing you some sketches and creations that we've used over at ScrapbookChallenges this month to jump start your mojo!

Our April Challenge at Challenge YOURself is all about song lyrics this month!  Yep, a wonderful song by the super talented and beautiful Grammy award winning Martina McBride!  Her lyrics capture empowerment for "US girls" from age 13 and all the way up to my age {GULP} and more -It's all about GIRL EMPOWERMENT this month! I chose to scrap a recent photo from a girl's trip I just took in 2016 with old and new friends!
