I troll the internet so much that sometimes I fall upon fantastic ideas and have no clue as to how I stumbled across them. And I always wonder how I hadn't found it earlier...One of those websites that I found today is called WE GIVE BOOKS....

Their concept is easy: We Give Books combines the joy of reading with the power of helping others, providing a platform for caregivers and educators to inspire children to become lifelong readers and lifelong givers.  This month, they have 3 different campaigns that will receive books-you pick which one you want to help and then go read some of their books online- EASY!

 I don't know about you, but we check out tons of books every two weeks from our local library and there's times when you get tired of reading the same thing.  Or, we're in the mood for a certain story and the book is checked out...So, there's some great selections to be read...who doesn't love Skippy Jon Jones?? lol

plus, it's great, I can sit on the couch with my Nook and snuggle up with my Thing 2 and read stories and, Dad can do the same with his ipad!   It's a win-win for everybody and encourages a love for literacy and how can you go wrong with storytime???
