I know we are all works in progress and so as I approach the BIG 5-0 in 2015, I hope to be like a masterpiece or a fine wine, just getting better with time....working on myself a little at a time and working on my role as a better mother, wife, sister, aunt and friend...so this month's challenge at (Scrap) Challenge YOUrself is to SCRAP AN AFFIRMATION.  I normally don't do Starbucks (I am normally a Dunkin Donuts unsweet tea or Panera green tea kinda chick) but when I go out with Thing 1, that's her place so...drank plain old dark roast but I collected these "Oprah-isms" they had on those thingees -cupholders?? and thought they spoke to me, so the one I chose to scrap first was:
Loved using my order from Paper IssuesI/CB, man, that Maggie Holmes stuff is awesome!  I chose to add Heidi Swapp  "Stay Gold" accents to keep reminding myself to do just that (but silver is ok too )-2014 was a year of putting myself first more often, being more organized, especially with one about to graduate and the other with "different abilities", cutting out MOST of the foolishness/drama that surrounded me and so far, simplicity and "doing me" has felt pretty great.  So there ya have it...ONE of my Oprah-isms with more to come :):)
