hhmmm...I'll be totally honest but it's JMO...not sure about this one....the January Counterfeit Kit (CKCB) inspo comes from Kaisercraft's Ubud Dreams kit:
lots of blue, greens, mandala, zentangle...things way outta my collection comfort zone...I had destashed and given away some things back in Nov and Dec so my beachy/aqua stuff is almost 90% gone...so I just started with the BLUES (they are more navy IRL) of it all and that's the only thing I have in common with the inspo kit...
I then just pulled some browns and gold just because they were nearby lol:
and , since I decluttered embellishments last month too, I had dumped whatever was left into a small bin and it was slim pickins for an embellishment add-on:
not sure how many layouts are gonna be made out of this one but it's a challenge blog right???!! I'll probably add some watercolors, coloring pages cutouts and washi in there to make it work....wish me luck!

Yay for you for rising so scrappy to the challenge. I think that kit has real potential. Enjoy.

ReplyDeleteLooks like a fantastic kit to me (I would be challenged by all of that brown though!) I'm sure the extra colours and patterns in the 6x6 pads will help, so will look forward to seeing what you come up with!
