back to scrapping-it's been awhile.  But I have stash that is begging to be used! So, I finally got my October Counterfeit Kit together and it's big I tell ya!

This month's inspiration to  counterfeit comes from Shimelle Laine and her The Best of Both World's kit :

My inspiration came from all the yellow that my eyes spotted first! Then I was mostly drawn to rainbows, hearts and stripes.   I added in some Sweet Story by Crate Paper as well as Magical Forest by the same.  Tags, enamels, chipboards and Thickers rounded out my kit and VOILA- here ya go!

My Minds Eye On the Bright Side
October Afternoon  (Chalkboard from Schoolhouse Collection, Hometown)
I so wanted to find that gorgeous heart paper that was in the Gossamer Blue inspiration kit, but didn't have it so I used the Basic Grey PB & J:
OTHER STUFF:  Labels Stickers are from My Mind's Eye and Basic Grey (love the Hey You collection @ Joann's) , Banner Bites are Jillibean Soup....alphas are Bella Blvd and other stash that Iremoved from the original packaging.
 Am not sure what to call these circle thingies:


some of them are October Afternoon die cut pieces, some are Teresa Collins...all the other ones are ones that I made myself.  All you need are patterned paper scraps, any  circle punch and I printed my words on silver paper in a Word document  (you could also stamp sayings or words onto white paper.) Cut and paste the words onto your circles....add embellishments if you want.  I added bits of washi tape  and some other doodads that were sitting on my desk)-faux stitching done with a black marker.  Normally I would stitch but my machine is out of thread!  Quick and super easy-no need to buy them!!!

well, CHA is officially over and some of us have been givin g you sneak peeks and looks of things we MUST have but some things kinda hid under  my radar {unintentionally}...one of those companies I did talk about was Bella Blvd (see previous posts for those AMAZING feathers) ...how the heck did I miss these lovelies??

There are six sets...gray/yellow, orange/pink, green/navy, red/turquoise, blue, and red/black.
Each tape set contains eight rolls of decorative tape and each roll has over 15 feet of decorative tape!

just ones I had done for myself....am still only about 2, 700 photos behind schedule. I'm trying to scrap all the ones I already have printed instead of printing new ones :)

from PA and NY and whew! how do you need a vacation from vacation?? ! Unless I'm at the beach, I multitask entirely too much and so it really wasn't a vacation...mix in a bit of bullcrap and it got all jacked up...but I plan on making some changes so that doesn't happen again, trust and believe.  I admit, I'm dramatic but I hate OPD (Other People's Drama)...being dramatic and being big drama are two entirely different things...But now that we are back @ 6420, all is well (and quiet) on the eastern front. I am slowly catching up/cleaning up my inboxes, appointments and calendars, catching up on blogs, organizing items that are due for DTs/challenges and just family/mom stuff~! I so need an ipad...lol...
So if you are waiting for postal goodies from me, bear with me and know that I do plan on being at the post office tomorrow!  I haven't created since my birthday weekend...but plan on remedying that situation soon since I have some new deadlines.  But for now, here's some LOTD from my girls getaway  weekend!  Happy belated Thursday and hope everybody has a fab Friday!  My Friday crafter will be up later today and also some of my favorite CHA peeks!

Bella Blvd and Jolee's

Give them the recognition they so deserve!  So that no one would feel put out, I decided that I am my own superHERO ...after all, I wouldn't carry this notebook in my purse for nothing would I LOL ??? 


My friend KateR gave me this cricut cutout and I've been waiting to use it; originally thought I'd use it for Thing 1 but, instead, used it for mmwwahh!!  Nothing like a LO about ME to swell my already big head !!! Loved using the Hambly overlay (again, from my friend KateR), Bella Blvd Socialite paper and and that cool wooden embell is from AC Moore!
