and what can we say here in Maryland except that we do like snow (most of us but not me) BUT come on, 38 inches one storm and now another 12+ inches tonight?? Makes me wanna pull my hair! We finally got a snow plow back here around 1 pm, but he did such a hack job-went up to the end and then left..pitiful, he shoulda stayed drinking coffee somewhere. We dug ourselves out yesterday..this shows just how wonderful this community is that I live in. Our course we are small, only 3 streets and some of us are original owners so everybody knows each other...of course being outside all week has caused hubby to get sick so that means we won't get any shoveling done tomorrow cause Queen Kat don't do dat kinda work!
Thing 1 and Thing 2 finally decided that they would go out for a bit and Thing 2 (the boy) actually liked it for once! He's mor of a summer/beach/pool guy even though it means his cochlear comes off-go figure. For those of you enjoying warm temps, pray for us!

It's still snowing and the city of Elkridge has officially been declared the only city on MD that's rec'd the highest snowfall totals so far...last count 32 inches folks! As soon as the hubs clears a path, it gets dumped on again! Thing 1 went out to help but it's a very heavy snow and so they didn't stay out for long. Thing 2 is like me, he doesn't like the snow and won't even come look at it. I saw my neighbor Anne outside taking some pictures and as she stood in the street, the snow was up past her knees. Crazy and I don't mean in a good way.
*around our nations capital and the surrounding burbs...don't know how much we got because I stayed in my pjs all day...opened the door to get some shots and ran back inside...TOO COLD & WINDY!!!! Sam I am,I do not like Snow!! Can't stand the whole thing about getting wet and cold; never have, never will....snowballs don't do a thing for me....

None here in Maryland and I DO NOT miss that! This is a layout I did of pictures from last year's excursion in NY...I had to do a LO of L in the "Fiona" hat cause I love it so; I bet she does NOT miss having to wear it this year either for many reasons :) People forget that snow is beautiful to look at and to photograph and to play in; especially a snowfall like this one in the picture, it was WAY early in the morning, no one in the town was awake and it was just {us} and the birds and the snow but hell, once you got back from the back paths and back to civilization, ain't nothing breathtaking about shoveling a foot of snow!!!
