FINALLY! I gets to getting to get this together...as many of you guys already know, I'm addicted to the site called Counterfeit kits that I stumbled upon last month! It's so helping me with my paper addiction/hoarding/behavior crush....this month, their Inspiration comes from Studio Calico! Yes, their stuff is contemporary {don't be afraid} but it's pretty versatile and I know some folks don't have it lying around, but that's the beauty of copying, you make it (the kit) your own! I love SC, can't afford it, but happened to have some because I was "gifted" some by one awesome chick! So anyway, I'll show what I did this month so far:

Great kit. I find your description of SC as contemporary to be very interesting. I'm not sure what word I would use to describe them though. I have some unused SC kits I need to get used up - but right now it's too much to kit up everything else.
