Spring, here?? YES!!!!

By kate blue - Monday, April 14, 2014

It's so weird here on the East Coast...Old Man Winter kept trying to hold on, weekend before last? Cool temps & rain...these past coupla days??  We leaped right into spring and on Saturday, it was almost summer!  So, of course we gals over at Scrap Our Stash have a spring challenge just for you!!

Create a Spring Layout using spring colors ( I used yellow and pastels) and include the following Pre made/packaged items from your stash:  Paperclip(s), Journal card and at least one 3D embellishment.
DUE: 4/29/2014 midnight PST
You are allowed to add whatever else you want to your layout as long as you meet the requirements above.
And one more important thing...click HERE for the SOS Challenge Guidelines!!!

My layout was inspired by the little house chipboard that I had in my stash.  I've been holding onto for like forever!  So I decided to scrapbook the beginning of when it all began...spring 1995 when we built and moved into our house! So far, it's been our first house and our only house LOL...
*paperclip:  Maya Road
*journaling spot (not sure, I have wayyyy too many packs of them, maybe MAMBI
*3D embellishment-butterfly from either Colorbok or Recollections

  1. Hello hello! Thank you for the lovely comment you left on my blog about scrapping our hearing loss journey. I have gone armed with a camera to a few of our appointments and sessions much to the amusement of our audiologist, surgeon and speechie! My Boy is 8 as well, unilateral CI since January 2013. He may eventually be bilateral CI depends on whether his hearing deteriorates further. I love the layout you shared today, yellow is a colour I need to use more often!! And I'm really looking forward to seeing your hearing journey layouts (it's really therapeutic for mummies!) - so I'm following you on Bloglovin now so I don't miss them :)
